POLO-KAL XS POLO-KAL XS is an absolute technological innovation for the installation of drainage systems! It is the first soundproof polypropylene (PP) drainage system in blue RAL 5014 color, coextruded in 3 layers with "FunTEC" joint. This exclusive production technology allows the sealing gasket to be directly molded into the socket. This results in numerous advantages: - Socket connection without the use of lubricants - Socket connection without the need to chamfer the cut pipe - Reduced socket size - Reduction of at least 50% in installation time for a drainage network A range of diameters from 32 to 110 mm is available, providing the system with excellent qualities such as sound insulation, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, and resistance to chemicals in domestic and industrial drains. The system is made up of pipes and fittings reinforced with mineral charges (MV). Application scope POLO-KAL XS is a wastewater drainage system that meets the EN 1451-1 standard in BD Class (both inside and outside buildings). It is suitable for installations in residential, industrial, commercial, public, and hospitality buildings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, hotels, schools, and places of worship. The POLO-KAL XS system is also suitable for ventilation systems, dust extraction systems, and systems with positive pressure for wastewater (pumps or macerators such as Sanitrit). Design instructions The POLO-KAL XS drainage system can be sized according to the design standard UNI EN 12056-2. For the ventilation of the drainage system, either the POLO-KAL XS system or BAMVENT ventilation valves can be used as prescribed by the standard. In compliance with the DPCM 5/12/1997 on passive acoustic requirements inside buildings (Italian Law), the POLO-KAL XS drainage system offers high sound insulation performance certified according to EN 14366 at the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart. Unique advantages for secure installations The technology applied to the POLO-KAL XS system allows for a reduction of at least 50% in installation time by eliminating certain procedures: - No need to measure the pipe before cutting - No need to chamfer the cut pipe - No lubrication required for connecting the pipe - No chamfering or lubrication required - With POLO-KAL XS, there is no need for chamfering after cutting, allowing for a perfect connection even with an imperfect cut, without the use of any lubricant. Installation method The POLO-KAL XS system is extremely easy to handle and quick to install, thanks to the lubricant-free socket connection with an elastomeric gasket directly inserted into the socket (FunTEC technology). This prevents any possibility of gasket leakage during storage, transportation, or installation. With the POLO-KAL XS system, a customary expansion space in the socket is not required for a column height of up to 10 meters. The POLO-KAL XS polypropylene system is compatible for connection with other plastic materials such as PP/PE-HD/PVC in standard diameters.
