FIP is an official reseller of FRIATEC's product line, including fittings, welding machines, and accessories. The safety electrofusion PE fittings for water and gas distribution pipes include the FRIALEN® system, the FRIAFIT® line of safety electrofusion PE fittings for wastewater, the complementary line of FRIATOOLS accessories, and the FRIAMAT line of electrofusion machines. The FRIALEN® safety fittings are approved for use in water and gas sectors, registered by DVGW GW335-B2 with certificates DV-8601AU2248, DV-8606AU2249, and DV-8611AU2250, and regularly undergo external inspections. In Italy, the FRIALEN® safety electrofusion fittings are certified by the Italian Plastics Institute, which has authorized FRIATEC AG to apply the conformity mark in accordance with UNI standards based on the obtained results. They comply with the requirements of DM 174/04 and can be used on pipes intended for the transport of drinking water. They can be welded with pipes having SDR from 17.6 (Smin = 3 mm) up to SDR 11 according to UNI EN 1555 and UNI EN 12201. Weldability with other SDRs on request. They can be welded to LD-PE, PE50, PE63, PE100, PE-Xa, and PE-RC pipes with a melt flow rate of 190/5 ranging from 0.2 to 1.7 g/10'. They meet the requirements according to DIN 16963, part 5 and part 7, as well as UNI EN 1555-3 and UNI EN 12201-3. Welding is possible at ambient temperature according to UNI10566 and UNI10521 standards. FRIAFIT® wastewater fittings are approved according to UNI 19.537 and comply with construction standards. They are made of PE100 for a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar (for AM sleeves). FRIAFIT® fittings (excluding AM sleeves) can be welded to pipes from SDR 33 to SDR 11 according to UNI 8074, DIN 8075, ISO 4437, UNI EN12666, EN12201, EN1555, and EN13244. They can be welded to PE63, PE80, and PE100 pipes with a melt flow rate ranging from 0.2 to 1.7 g/10'. The welding of FRIAFIT® fittings is possible at ambient temperatures ranging from -10°C to 45°C.
